Sneak Peek, Packing & The Hello Kitty Effect

How many of you guys take the 5? I had a family session in LA today and there was NO traffic going to and from. And it was during regular traffic jam hours... on a Monday! I was all 'yeeaaaahhhh' the whole way up and down. I swear the 5 is my best frenemy.

On to other news... for our 3 year anniversary (august 7), Richie got me a Fuji Film Instax Mini... Hello Kitty Special Edition!!!! I personally don't understand the whole HK festish, but I am soooooooo happppy about the gift! Isn't he so sweet? He got me the HK one because the regular ones are 'ugly'. lol. Can't wait to fill up my scrapbook with this camera.



People say we look alike. I don't see it.


And below is a sneak peek of the family session from today. Isn't he adorable? Look at how tiny he is. I love how he's grabbing his dad's finger.


And here's another piece of eye candy from this workshop I attended. It's a little over-exposed, but I LOOOVE it!


I'm flying to SF tomorrow so I should be packing right now. I wish I was the kind of person that could just go everywhere and anywhere and pack light. But I'm the kind of person that brings my whole room when I go somewhere. I swear I'll bring 7 pairs of socks for a trip even though I'll be wearing flip-flops the whole time.

Bowers Museum Wedding Photography :: Santa Ana

On Saturday, I 2nd shot a wedding at Bowers Museum. I really really enjoy 2nd shooting. I love getting all the details and candids. Here are some of my fav images from that day. :)

I just love the image on the right. The petticoat, leftovers from room-service... i don't know why but it just makes me happy.


























Lol. He kept chasing me with his phone. I have no idea what that is. But it was recording so I ran away after I got my shot. HA!






My favorite. I can just feel the museum-ness from this image. Which I LOVE!


Isn't that hilarious?!!! They chose their favorite movies and added their faces to the picture. And the groom was a huge Star Wars fan. I think he walked down the aisle to the theme song of Star Wars. And I say I think because it sounded like it. Plus, the guests started laughing so I'm assuming it was.

Christopher Park :: Irvine |portrait|

It's been 10 or so years since I've known Chris... so it's still quite a shock to see him all grown up. Grown up and TALL! He used to be shorter than me and now he's 6' and towers over me. In the past couple of years I haven't seen this guy, he has accomplished so many things. He just finished his 6 year enlistment in the Marines and graduated from USC! And I am so proud to see that he has grown into such a mature and awesome guy. Although he will always be 12 in my eyes. :)

It was so great seeing Chris. We randomly decided to meet up last Thursday and coincidentally, the service center for canon called and said my camera and lens was ready to be picked up. So we headed on over to Irvine, picked up my gear and had some fun at the Irvine Spectrum!

I love that Chris reads a lot of books on religion, politics, economics, and philosophy. He can talk to you about any of those subjects ALL day. So I thought it would be perfect to end our day at Barnes&Nobles. I told him to pick out the books he really reads or would read. And as he was browsing around he kept saying you should read this, you should read that and asking have you read this.

And I leave you with this photo because this is so him. You can probably find him like this at home all the time. And it's so funny because he was really reading while I was shooting... I don't think he heard any of my directions. But that's why I love this photo even more...

Sneak A Peek!

Hey folks! It's Friday, it's summer, nice weather, kinda hot but... couldn't be any better. And on Saturday, I'm headin' over to the Hollywood Bowl for 4th of July. Woot! Woot! I love fireworks! They remind me of my childhood... how we always used to stock up on them! Like the smoke bombs! Killer bees! the glory torches!!! I could not get enough of them. I actually like the fireworks you use at home. The big bang pro ones don't give me the same nostalgic feeling. but still awesome to watch.
