Party Like it's 1999!!!

This past weekend, we headed up to beh-gahs for nancy's bachelorette partay~!!!

I actually flew straight to vegas right after a shoot... which was cool cuz it was my first time flying to vegas. we always drive, so it was a new experience for me. but i prefer driving.

did i ever mention i LOVE planes? i'm deathly afraid of them, but oh how i love watching planes take off and land. planes amaze me. taking off is my favorite part. i can sit at the airport and watch planes leave the runway for hours. when i was a kid, i remember sitting on someone's lap because i wanted to see out the window. but really. i literally push my face so far up against the window, if you're sitting behind me, you'd think i was crazy and gross... for touching the nasty windows.

but i don't think i'll be flying to vegas anymore. being in a 737 with major turbulence isn't my thing. i felt major claustorphobic. i don't know why, but 40 minutes in a small plane is utter torture for me.

anyways! since i had my camera with me, i just shot a few images of my beautiful nancy getting ready for our night out in sin city: thunder down under and chippendales! sooo kidding eddie!

and a major thank you to john for the room at the palazzo! it was beautiful~!

Tea Ceremony

A handful of brides have asked if I've ever shot a tea ceremony before. So I thought it would be a good idea to post some of my fave images to share with you all. :)

***Richie just left this morning to go on a bachelor party with his buddies. They're going camping and white water rafting! Class 4, mind you! I almost had a heart attack when I heard that. They're beginners! But boys will be boys. He even bought a wet suit and modeled it for me. :) It was really cute.

UPDATE:

Nancy called me in the morning and asked if I wanted to come over and bake cookies for the boys before they left for their bachelor trip. I laughed. Bake? Um. I don't really bake. I'll bake probably every 5 years just for the smell, but not because the boys are going white water rafting. I know. I'm so horrible.

So I told Nancy to put extra 'love' from me in Richie's bag. She goes to give the cookies and see them off (it's Nancy's fiance's bachelor trip). She tells Richie "Connie put extra love in there." And Richie starts happily digging in his goody bag.

N: What are you looking for?
R: The note.
N: What note?
R: The note you said she put in here.
N: There's no note. I SAID she put extra looove. Like happy wishes.
R: Just gives Nancy a dumbfounded look

When Nancy called me to tell me this, I felt soooo bad. :( Funny, but still I felt bad. LoL. So here is my note:

When my sister came down from SF, she introduced me to a game called Doodle Jump. Actually, it was more like she was playing it and having the time of her life and I was sitting there staring at her from the corner of my eye trying not to care.

But! OMG! This game is seriously the bomb. So if you have an iphone, I'll probably make you hand it over. And if you don't have the game, I'll make you buy it. :)And the best part is... It's only 99 cents! Seriously the BEST 99 cents my friends have spent.

Doesn't it look like FUN??? Try beating my score. 24k. If you beat it, don't tell me.

you know those days where you're driving and you have no idea how you got there? how your body just turns the wheel left or right just by muscle memory?

well, i was on my way to the gas station and when i got there, i had a major brain fart and forgot where my gas tank was. i was all, huh? left? right? so i stuck my head out the window to see, but i couldn't. :( lol. come on! i've had this car since the start of my driving history and i forget which side the gas tank is on? unbelievable.

anyways! happy tuesday folks. and don't have brain farts like me.

My sister, Ezra, Richie and I took my mum to Redondo Beach for some crabs and sushi for Mother's day~~!!! YuMMmmMMMmmmm. I looooooove eating there. Sooooo gooooood.

Just wanted to say Happy Mom Day everyone! I love you mom!
