My BaBy SiS

My sister moved up north and came down for a little visit of sisterly love. Actually, she squeezed in some time for me, but I like to believe she came down just for me.

Before Sis and I met up with Nancy to take pictures of her invites, I had a little portrait session with my sis.

First of all. My sister HATES... like really HATES taking pictures. So when she asked, 'are you going to take pictures of me too?' I was like HELLLLLLLS YEEEEAAAH!

Last year, I seriously BEGGED my sister to model for me when I was taking a 35mm black/white film class. She finally agreed after I begged and gave her a MAJOR sisterly guilt trip. LOLOL. But seriously. I think my sis is HOT! I LOOOOOOVE taking pictures of her! She's everything I'm not! So when she was open for the mini-portrait session, I just about went nuts.

My dad always called my sister 'million dollar lips'. Can't pay money to get lips like that!

She's so hot.

A little story for you folks:

During her week of visiting so cal, my sister and I spent some time shopping and talking. When I say my sister is everything I'm not, it's true. We are complete opposites. I'm totally the uptight, anal older sister. I like control. I get crazy when I loose control of things. I always wanted a tatoo, but I never got one. I wanted a nose piercing, but I never got one.

Anyways. We roamed around downtown Fullerton and came upon a really small farmer's market. We bought and shared a tri-tip sandwich. And when we walked to the condiment station, my sister started putting dijon mustard and a whole mess of Tapatio on her sandwich. I had already taken a bite of my sandwich thinking I didn't need anything. But when I looked at my sister just slapping on mustard and hot sauce, I did the same. And it's weird. It's not like I DON'T like mustard and tapatio. It just really never occurred to me to put it on my sandwich.

And it was gooooood. So I told my sister she's my mustard and tapatio in so many ways. She adds spice to my life. Just like Richie. I'm the control freak and my sister and Richie are my doses of free-spiritedness. They always remind me to just chill out, relax and fly. LOL. They fly with their eyes closed. I fly with one eye open.

And lastly, a little collage that represents my sis. (click on the image for a larger view.)

sNeaK-A-tOke

I don't really like to exercise. Actually. That's an understatement. I don't do exercise. When people drag me to the gym, I'm usually just chillin' next to the treadmills watching tv. But I'm trying! Trying to be open to the idea of exercising! :)

The reason why I'm telling you this is because I'm going on a 3 mile hike tomorrow. Richie is making me go, but I think it'll be good. Both physically and spiritually.

But in the mean time, here's a little sneak-a-toke of an e-session I shot on Monday.

Esther :: UCLA |maternity|

This past weekend, I met up with Esther to shoot her maternity pics. A big shout to to Alice and Richie for coming out and helping us!!! :) Thank you! And I am sooooo sorry for being late! (The 5 freeway and I are major frenemies. It took me an hour and a half to get to LA on a Sunday!)

First of all. Esther is seriously one HOT mama. I'm not joking. She's seriously beautiful. And even more because she was such a good sport and trekked around with me for 2 hours when she's 7 months pregnant with her 2nd child! Thank you Esther! You are seriously beautifully awesome.

Enjoy the pics!

DIY Invitations

I wanted to wait until the invites went out and since I received mine in the mail, it's time to blog!

Nancy, her family and friends and I worked loooong hours making these. When Nancy told me she was gocco'ing her invites, I was all, 'OK! What is that? I'll help." Honestly, even though it took countless late nights to finish these invites, I had fun making them. I had NO idea it would take that much work. And since our sweat and blood went into them, I wanted to capture the process of the whole thing. I really think Nancy&Eddie deserve a major shoutout. I LOVE their invite design and their theme 'Love Grows'.

Here is the couple hanging around the gocco machine. I have new respect for the gocco machine. LOL.

The invite and all the inserts. BTW. I placed all the stamps on the RSVP cards. I love putting stamps on things.

HAHA. So cute. I told her to write "see ya there" on a piece of paper and I think it turned out adorable.

And remember my last post? These are some of the other things Nancy and our 'sweatshop' team were working on.

So everyone who reads my blog and is invited to Nancy and Eddie's wedding, SEE YA THERE!

i. can't. sleep.

I work better at night. My body and brain is more alert once the sun goes down. But my sleep schedule has been waaaaaay off the past couple of weeks.

Well, here's a little sneak peek of what's to come. :)

I'm taking a trial hip-hop class tomorrow. And I am very nervous. Cuz you know. I dance like the Pussycat Dolls all in one. Wish me luck!

HaPPY MoNday!

Isn't she cuuuuute? I love her. She reminds me of my old dog. If I didn't love Nancy, I'd totally take Molly from her. LOL.

Molly is such a smartie. I think a little too smart. She loves when you rub her belly and loves to cuddle with you. You know how you always dream of having a dog that lays her head on your arm or leg? Molly does that. And it's friggin adorable.

Thought we'd start this Monday off with cute a$$ pictures.

Here's Molly and her favorite toy.

I can't. This is serious.

Today was like any other Friday. We ate one of our favorite meals (shabu shabu) and went to starbucks and played a few... ok, a lot of rounds of pusoy.

But the reason why I'm blogging is because I wanted to write about how this guy seriously makes my heart laugh. I'm not saying he's funny 24/7 and there a few times where I'm like, uh, but that's not funny. HAHAHHAHA. But when he's funny, he's funny. Like fall-on-the-floor, I-have-to-pee funny. And it's those moments where I seriously just look at him and think: are you for real? you're my everything.

Anyhoo. We were driving around today, taking care of some errands and we started talking about the quizzes they have on facebook. I mean, the quizzes are completely incorrect and totally wack, but it's so fun taking them. So I took the 'how many kids are you going to have?' quiz and it says I'm having 2 boys and 1 girl. Richie's quiz said he's having 1 boy and 1 girl.

So as we're driving, here's our conversation:

r: hey. so you know those quizzes on facebook?
me: yeah.
r: it says i'm having 1 boy and 1 girl. and you're having 2 boys and 1 girl.
me: i laugh and i say yeah.
r: so i guess that means one of the boys is a dog.

PU HAHAHHAHAHAH!

Later on that night, we're relaxing at my house. I'm on my computer and he's playing resident evil.

me: hey babe. i need to go outside for a second. wanna come?
r: i can't.
me: why?
r: this is serious.

PU HAHAHAHHAHAHA!. He's playing resident evil! How serious can it be?

Ok. So maybe what he said aren't joke funny and may not be funny to others, but they sure as hell made me fall-on-the-floor laugh. And as long as it makes me laugh, that's all that matters. :) And yes. it's 'PU' HAHA funny.

And since every post needs eye candy, here's a most recent picture of us we took on my p&s at a wedding we attended.

Photobucket

hope everyone has a fall-on-the floor funny, wonderful weekend. And i hope Rich doesn't kill me for this post. :)
