My BaBy SiS

My sister moved up north and came down for a little visit of sisterly love. Actually, she squeezed in some time for me, but I like to believe she came down just for me.

Before Sis and I met up with Nancy to take pictures of her invites, I had a little portrait session with my sis.

First of all. My sister HATES... like really HATES taking pictures. So when she asked, 'are you going to take pictures of me too?' I was like HELLLLLLLS YEEEEAAAH!

Last year, I seriously BEGGED my sister to model for me when I was taking a 35mm black/white film class. She finally agreed after I begged and gave her a MAJOR sisterly guilt trip. LOLOL. But seriously. I think my sis is HOT! I LOOOOOOVE taking pictures of her! She's everything I'm not! So when she was open for the mini-portrait session, I just about went nuts.

My dad always called my sister 'million dollar lips'. Can't pay money to get lips like that!

A little story for you folks:

During her week of visiting so cal, my sister and I spent some time shopping and talking. When I say my sister is everything I'm not, it's true. We are complete opposites. I'm totally the uptight, anal older sister. I like control. I get crazy when I loose control of things. I always wanted a tatoo, but I never got one. I wanted a nose piercing, but I never got one.

Anyways. We roamed around downtown Fullerton and came upon a really small farmer's market. We bought and shared a tri-tip sandwich. And when we walked to the condiment station, my sister started putting dijon mustard and a whole mess of Tapatio on her sandwich. I had already taken a bite of my sandwich thinking I didn't need anything. But when I looked at my sister just slapping on mustard and hot sauce, I did the same. And it's weird. It's not like I DON'T like mustard and tapatio. It just really never occurred to me to put it on my sandwich.

And it was gooooood. So I told my sister she's my mustard and tapatio in so many ways. She adds spice to my life. Just like Richie. I'm the control freak and my sister and Richie are my doses of free-spiritedness. They always remind me to just chill out, relax and fly. LOL. They fly with their eyes closed. I fly with one eye open.

And lastly, a little collage that represents my sis. (click on the image for a larger view.)
